Bellingham062708 014 1024x768 A Pair of Ferries

Bellingham is the southern terminus of the Alaska Marine Highway System ferries. Here (on the left) the M/V Columbia is shown docked at the Bellingham Cruise Terminal. Usually, that means it is Friday. Also in Bellingham that day was the M/V Wenatchee, a Washington State Ferry, which was undergoing renovations. The Boulevard Boardwalk is in the foreground, looking out across Bellingham Bay toward Lummi Island. Photo: Taken from Boulevard Park in Bellingham on 27 June 2008.
