Bellingham 092408 062 1024x768 Along the Nooksack River
As you travel through the roads crisscrossing the Cascade Mountains, there are literally hundreds of places where a person could stop just to watch a river go by among the trees. Every time you do that, it is worth the stop. There is nothing like watching nature flow by. This scene was found along the Nooksack River in the Mt Baker National Forest, on the highway that goes to Mt Baker. Nobody there but you, and the fish in the river, and the beasts of the forest. Photo: Taken along the Mt Baker Highway 542 in the Mt Baker National Forest on 24 September 2008.
