It is time for an update on the pumpkins that were growing out of the flower box in the front yard and all over the front lawn. In a previous post, I shared what they looked like growing up. The above picture is the largest of the three pumpkins, about 18 pounds worth. With Halloween coming up, it was time to make sure that the local kids didn’t do something untoward to them. I like this one because it is still sporting it’s “horns”.

This picture shows all three of them. The last two really didn’t start growing until well into August, and still had a little green around the edges by the end of October. So, this was my little “Farmville” experience. Photos: Taken in the front yard in Portland on 30 October 2010.
