Heading to the Beach
Sometimes it takes a bit of work to get to a secluded part of the beach. This stretch is about a mile down a steep trail in the Dungeness National Wildlife Refuge near Sequim. There’s nothing like the waves crashing on the beach, watching the birds go by, and dreaming of the sea along the Strait of Juan de Fuca. We couldn’t see across the strait to Victoria that day — too much fog. The (up close) Olympic Mountains start in the background. The cliffs: Higher than they look. My goodness that is so beautiful! I’m surprised Katt didn’t take that picture and send out a prompt for us to write a short fictionous tale about it.
Can you set your blog up to come to your friends (who sign up) on FB? Jan has her webpage hooked up that way. If you can figure it out I would love my blog(s) to me that way too.
