Police responded to a report of an armed robbery in progress around 6 p.m. on April 1 at the Peoples Bank branch inside the Fairhaven Haggen on 12th Street. The suspect left prior to officers’ arrival.

Now, investigators believe the suspect, described as a 6-foot Black man wearing dark clothing and a dark face covering during the robbery, may be associated with a possibly black-and-white Ford Flex SUV, according to a social media post made Thursday, April 4.

The SUV was seen driving westbound on Larrabee Avenue toward Haggen at 5:42 p.m. and then was seen departing eastbound after the robbery at 5:55 p.m., according to police.

The investigation is ongoing. People with information about the suspect or the incident are encouraged to call the non-emergency dispatch line at 360.676.6911 or make a report online at www.cob.org/tips.
