Bellingham might be 2,000 miles away from Dallas, but a slice of the Southwest is coming to Whatcom County nonetheless. A Texas Roadhouse restaurant will open in the Meridian Neighborhood this October, bringing 220 new jobs to the city, according to a press release.
The Southwestern-style eatery will be located at 4331 Meridian St., the site of the former Billy McHale’s Restaurant. Construction of a new, 8,000-square-foot building is still in progress, though the restaurant is hiring for all positions.
The Louisville, Kentucky-based chain was established in 1993 and is known for hand-cut steaks, ribs, burgers and down-home, American cuisine. The Bellingham location joins the ranks of more than 600 Texas Roadhouses in 49 U.S. states.
