It will reopen as The Cafe at Skagit Acres later in February

Skagit Landing Restaurant & Catering closed its Port of Skagit location on Feb. 6.

The restaurant, which was owned by venture capital group Spinach Bus Ventures, will consolidate with sister business Skagit Acres and reopen as The Cafe at Skagit Acres later this month.

First opened in April 2021, Skagit Landing’s Burlington location served sandwiches, comfort food and cocktails made from locally sourced ingredients. The restaurant was also known for its unique views of the Skagit Regional Airport runway and partnership with local farms, including Water Tank Bakery, Bow Hill Blueberries and Samish Bay Cheese.

Despite this closure, the “farm-to-fork” tradition will continue at The Cafe at Skagit Acres, tentatively opening on Feb. 23. The new cafe will be located in Mount Vernon at Skagit Acres, a 25-acre farm and “one-stop shop for plants, gifts, decor and delicious treats.” In addition to Skagit Acres, Spinach Bus Ventures owns Tulip Town in Mount Vernon and Fairhaven Mill in Burlington.
