Council will hold a public hearing on whether to change recycling collection from source-separated (paper, glass, etc. in separate bins) to single stream, to align with Bellingham-specific fields including housing, behavioral health and EMS.

The Washington State Legislature is providing funding to Whatcom County to develop and implement outreach and provide filing assistance to water users. Survey online.

Bellingham could grow in a variety of ways. Let the City of Bellingham know the pros and cons of each of the listed approaches on its individual comment boards. Add pros and cons (or up-vote someone else’s comment). Go to this webpage and scroll halfway down to see the comment boards.

Proposed expansion of Bellingham’s transit station. Deadline: 2024

Whatcom Transportation Authority is accepting written comment through its Engage WTA website on a proposal to expand Bellingham Station, to allow room for more buses and additional public uses. Survey online.
