It will be the Vikings’ final home game of the season and their third to last game before the postseason. The Vikings, who are 11-9 overall and 10-4 in conference as of Sunday, Nov. 10, are looking to keep their four-game winning streak going. They swept Northwest Nazarene earlier this season.
Hannegan Speedway Cross 24
9:15 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 16 at Hannegan Speedway, Bellingham
The Cascade Cross series kicks off Saturday, Nov. 16 for its seventh season. The Hannegan Speedway provides fun and fast obstacles while keeping true to the cyclocross spirit. The course will have flat grassy and sandy sections with “twisty-turny bits” in between. The pre-registration is $55 and the series is $99.
Greater Bellingham Running Club’s Turkey Trot
9 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 23 at Squalicum Creek Park
The Greater Bellingham Running Club’s annual Turkey Trot is a 5K race where all the net proceeds will benefit the Bellingham Food Bank. Children are welcome but must be accompanied by an adult and there is a 90-minute limit on the course.
