They are now two wins away from their clinching first state appearance since 2006–07.
Sixth-seeded Mount Vernon has been averaging nearly 47 points per game on offense and three blocks on defense. Meadowdale comes into the game as the No. 2 seed after being upset by Monroe in the quarterfinals. Meadowdale is averaging nearly 65 points per game and 16 assists.
Mount Vernon player to watch: Freshman guard Anaya Saldivar-Slater
Saldivar-Slater has shown she is one of the top freshmen in the Northwest Conference this season. She has led the Bulldogs in several categories this year, including points per game (12), rebounds (7.4), assists (2.4) and steals (4.8). Saldivar-Slater’s hard work, tenacity and speed have made her a tough matchup for any team.

Brockmeyer has been an offensive weapon for Meadowdale, averaging 16.2 points per game, 4.9 rebounds and 2.3 assists. She is also one of the team’s most efficient shooters, hitting about 55% of her shots from the field.
