By Jemma Alexander News Intern

The Skagit County Sheriff’s Office is searching for 31-year-old James Kelly of Concrete, in relation to the suspected murder of 44-year-old Justin Spaeth of Marblemount.

Kelly, who is considered armed and dangerous, is a 5-foot-9 white male who weighs 150 pounds and has blonde hair and green eyes.

Spaeth was reported missing on Feb. 28 from the 60000 Block of Rockport Cascade Road in Marblemount. Spaeth left his residence, and stated he was going to a friend’s house 2 miles away, police said. Spaeth is a 6-foot-2 white male who weighs 220 pounds. He has brown hair and blue eyes.

An investigation into his disappearance resulted in evidence and information that led the sheriff’s office to believe Spaeth was murdered by Kelly. The two men knew each other at the time of the suspected murder, police said.

The Skagit County Sheriff’s Office encourages the public to report information that could lead to finding Kelly. If Kelly is seen, call 911 or one of the numbers listed below.

To report information, call the sheriff’s main office at (360) 416-1911, the Skagit County dispatch at (360) 428-3211, or the anonymous tip line at (360) 416-1950.
