The Bellingham Police Department is requesting the public’s help in locating a man wanted in connection to a shooting on Tuesday, Feb. 11.

Timothy Stovall, 26, has a warrant out for his arrest in connection to probable cause of first-degree assault, unlawful possession of a firearm, first-degree robbery and harassment, according to BPD.

First responders were called to a parking lot around 3 p.m. Tuesday in the 3200 block of West Maplewood for a report of a person who had been shot, Lt. Claudia Murphy said. Officers were told the victim was lying on the ground.

Law enforcement found the victim and rendered aid. The victim was transported to PeaceHealth St. Joseph Medical Center for treatment, Murphy said.

Stovall fled the scene before law enforcement arrived.

If anyone sees Stovall, they should immediately call 911 and not approach him. BPD encouraged anyone with information about Stovall’s whereabouts to either call 360-778-8611 or go to www.cob.org/tips and reference case No. 25B08483.
